Affiliation of theological Schools with the Secular university in Nigeria by O P Jonah
There are two main types of affiliation or accreditation for theological education. One is with the Evangelical Accrediting Agency, like the ACTEA, EEAA, ATA, ICETE, etc, while the other is the accrediting agency of the university or the government. My concern here is not with the insider accrediting agency (i.e. Evangelical Accrediting Agency), but with the outsider (i.e. the secular university), because today, the Evangelicals are beginning to ask for the acceptance of their assumptions within the secular academic environment and, so, for a place at the University theology table.[1]
